Sage Woman Series.

As we transition into the next stage of our lives
this series revolves around re-powering ourselves:
honouring, celebrating and sharing our stories;
learning new ways to contribute and rediscovering
our valuable role.

It would be beneficial, but not essential, for you to
have taken some of the
Technique Treats!, and the
Fibre Unshackled! Series, as they will open you up to
the possibilities of different media and you'll have
the skills to create specific pieces to celebrate
your transition.

SW 1. - Introduction to Sages.

We'll discuss what a Sage is. Who is a Sage? When do you become a Sage?
What does a Sage do? How do Sages behave? What's expected of a Sage? How do
you prepare for becoming a Sage? The history of Sages and some of their stories
and what we can learn from them.

*This introductory session lays the groundwork for all the
other Saging Sessions and is a prerequisite.

SW 2. - Sage Woman Capes.

Create a very simple cape, which you'll transform into a unique and meaningful garment.
You'll stitch, paint, embellish, and glue symbols, colours, and designs that capture
who you are, who you were and who you will become. (Sewing skills not essential.)

SW 3. - Wisdom Journal Covers.

Journaling is an important pleasure for a Sage. You'll create a felted or fabric cover,
rich with the colours you love, embellished with symbols and designs that are
meaningful to you. A daily reminder of your uniqueness and value.

SW 4. - Sage Lap Quilt.

You'll take personal photographs, poems, sayings, and quotes and transfer them to fabric.
These will then be built into a lap quilt which will warm and support you in your Sage
years and can be passed on to those you love.
